It is the most convenient method to pay for fees online. Registration can be paid using VISA, MasterCard, as well as commercial or certified cheques. If paying by credit card, your credit card information will be required in the final online registration step.
If paying by cheque, submit your payment together with the filled –in Registration Form and note the following points.
- If you are registering at the early booking rate, your cheque must reach our office by the early booking deadline.
- If you are registering at the regular booking fee, your cheque must reach our office at least 10 days prior to the conference date.
- All cheques must be drawn on a Canadian bank and in Canadian funds.
- Please write the registrant’s name on the face of the cheque.
Cheques should be made payable to “Canadian Society for Quality”

Registration Fee Includes:
Full conference fee includes: Opening Welcome reception, Conference Banquet, admission to all Technical Sessions and Exhibits, Continental Breakfasts, lunches, refreshments daily, an electronic copy of the proceedings and a certificate of attendance.
One-Day conference fee includes: Admission to the Technical Sessions and the Exhibits on the day chosen, Breakfast, Refreshment Breaks, and Lunch on the day chosen, and access to conference proceedings available online.
Early Bird discounts are available for any registration completed prior to August 15, 2017. Standard registration fees apply for registrations after August 15, 2017. Registration will also be accepted on-site depending on availability.
Note: You are eligible for a maximum of one discount.
- The standard two day conference fee is $700.
- Speakers save $450 off the full two day conference (if your paper is selected.)
- Super Early Bird: Save $150, before July 8.
- Early Bird: Save $50, before September 8.
- Students pay only $150 (full time students with a valid and current student id.) Use registration code student Toronto cqc.
- One Day Conference if you can only attend for one day, pay $400.
- Group of 3 or more: Save $200 each.
- Group of 10 or more: Save $250 each.
- Group of 20 or more: Save $300 each.
Guests accompanying a conferee (those delegates registering for conference) are welcome to attend the continental breakfast, lunch or banquet for an additional cost. They are also welcome at the Welcome Reception at no charge. A note to non-conferee: Please contact conference office to book a ticket for your guests.
Please note that technical sessions are not open for guests. Should a guest wish to attend technical sessions, they must be registered as a delegate.
Discounts for CSQ-affiliated members
Discounts are provided to pre-approved and CSQ – associated association members. You are required to provide your ID number when registering to qualify for this discount.

There will be no refunds after August 15, 2017. However, a substitute attendee from the same company is permitted at any time prior to the conference date at no additional charge.
All cancellations must be received in writing via mail, email or fax. Refunds will be issued by cheque or credit card about two to three weeks after the conference is over. There will be no refunds for registrants who do not meet the above criteria. Delegates who do not attend meals, receptions or coffee breaks that are included in the registration fees will not be entitled to partial refunds.
NOTE: The Congress reserves the right to amend, suspend, cancel or postpone any or part of the program or program items mentioned in the offerings without any pre-announcement or to cancel the conference if registration targets are not met or when conditions beyond its control prevail. If the conference is not held for any reason, the Congress liability is limited to the refund of the registration fee only.
No-shows occur when individuals register but do not attend the conference. No-shows are not eligible for a refund.
If you are unable to attend the congress, you are welcome to send a colleague in your place at any time provided we receive a letter in writing from the person being substituted to that effect.
All information collected is held strictly private and will not be revealed to a third party. The credit-card information is used for the purposes of a single transaction on a secure site, and is not recorded. If you choose an appropriate box during the on-line registration process, your name, affiliation, and email address will be added to the List of Participants that will be made available during the conference.
All appropriate measures have been taken to secure personal information data by the computer system administrators provided by conference attendees. Access to the computing equipment is restricted to authorized personnel only and the systems are regularly monitored. All communications with the computing equipment involved in conference registration occurs over encrypted connections using industry standard encryption technology.
